Welcome to ComicPad. By downloading, installing, or using our application, you agree to be bound by these Terms of Service. Please read them carefully before using the app.
1. Acceptance of Terms
By accessing or using ComicPad, you confirm that you are at least 13 years of age and agree to comply with these Terms. If you do not agree with any part of these Terms, you must not use the application.
2. Description of Service
ComicPad is an AI-powered comic and story creation platform. The app uses artificial intelligence to generate text narratives and visual content based on user inputs. The service includes story creation, reading, and sharing features across multiple game modes.
3. User Accounts
Your account is automatically created using your device identifier. You are responsible for maintaining the security of your device and account. You may delete your account at any time through the app settings, which will permanently remove all your data.
4. User Content & Ownership
Stories and content you create using ComicPad belong to you. However, you grant ComicPad a non-exclusive, worldwide license to store, display, and process your content solely for the purpose of providing the service. You are responsible for ensuring your content does not violate any laws or third-party rights.
5. AI-Generated Content
Content generated by our AI is created algorithmically and may not always be accurate, appropriate, or free from errors. ComicPad does not guarantee the quality, accuracy, or suitability of AI-generated content. You acknowledge that AI outputs may occasionally produce unexpected or unintended results.
6. Tokens & In-App Purchases
ComicPad uses a token-based system for content generation. Tokens can be purchased through in-app purchases. All purchases are processed through Apple's App Store and are subject to Apple's refund policies. Token balances are non-transferable and have no cash value. Unused tokens do not expire. If you delete your account, any remaining tokens will be permanently lost.
7. Prohibited Conduct
You agree not to: (a) use the service to generate illegal, harmful, or abusive content; (b) attempt to reverse engineer, decompile, or hack the application; (c) use automated systems or bots to access the service; (d) share or distribute content that infringes on intellectual property rights; (e) attempt to circumvent the token system or any security measures.
8. Account Termination
We reserve the right to suspend or terminate your account if you violate these Terms or engage in conduct that we determine to be harmful to the service or other users. You may also delete your account at any time, which will result in permanent deletion of all associated data including stories, tokens, and achievements.
9. Disclaimer of Warranties
ComicPad is provided "as is" and "as available" without warranties of any kind, either express or implied. We do not warrant that the service will be uninterrupted, error-free, or free of harmful components. Your use of the service is at your sole risk.
10. Limitation of Liability
To the maximum extent permitted by law, ComicPad shall not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages arising from your use of the service, including but not limited to loss of data, loss of profits, or interruption of service.
11. Changes to Terms
We may update these Terms from time to time. We will notify you of significant changes through the app. Your continued use of ComicPad after changes are posted constitutes your acceptance of the revised Terms.
